Our Services

WeBuyGoods.co.uk buys a wide range of electronic items across the UK. We accept fully working items and items for spares or repair. Our service includes:

• Providing item-specific quotes based on make, model, and condition.
• Arranging UK-wide shipping with prepaid labels for your convenience.
• Offering a Greater Manchester pickup/drop-off service with optional cash payments.
• Paying customers via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash (where applicable).
• Responsibly repurposing or recycling electronic items to reduce e-waste.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have explicit guardian consent.
• Be the lawful owner of the items you're selling to us.
• Ensure items are free from finance agreements, iCloud/Google locks, and not reported lost or stolen.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

The Quoting Process

• Quotes are based on the condition and description you provide through our website or direct communication.
• All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.
• If the item's actual condition differs from your description, we may adjust the quote or return the item at cost to you.
• By accepting a quote, you agree to proceed with the sale under these terms.

Condition Verification

We inspect all items upon receipt. If the item matches your description, we'll proceed with payment. If not, we will contact you with a revised offer. If you decline the revised offer, the item will be returned to you at our expense.

We reserve the right to reject items that are counterfeit, contain personal data that hasn't been removed, or pose safety or legal risks.

Shipping and Risk

• Parcels sent using our prepaid labels are insured up to a specified value (you will be informed of this before shipping).
• You are responsible for secure packaging. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
• Risk transfers to us once the item is received and signed for by our team.
• We recommend using tracked services and retaining proof of postage until payment is received.

Pickup/Drop-Off Service

• Our Greater Manchester service allows for arranged pickups or customer drop-offs at agreed locations.
• Cash payment may be offered at the point of pickup/drop-off for qualifying transactions.
• We reserve the right to verify item condition before payment is made.
• Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Payment

• Processed within 1–2 working days after successful inspection.
• Made via bank transfer, PayPal, or cash (Greater Manchester only).
• You must ensure that your payment information is correct. We are not liable for payments sent to incorrect details provided by you.
• We do not charge fees for standard payment methods, but third-party providers may apply their own charges.

Prohibited Items

We do not accept:

• Items reported as stolen or blacklisted by networks or manufacturers.
• Devices with active security locks (e.g. iCloud, Google Account, MDM, etc.).
• Counterfeit or replica electronics of any kind.
• Items obtained via fraudulent means or without proof of ownership when requested.
• Devices containing illegal content or materials.

Violations will be reported to relevant law enforcement agencies and the device(s) will not be returned.

Your Responsibilities

You confirm that:

• You have the legal right to sell the item and transfer ownership to us.
• All personal data has been erased from the device before sending it to us.
• The item is accurately described during the quote process.
• You agree not to misuse our services, submit fraudulent claims, or attempt to sell items without clear title.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss arising from using our services.
• Delays caused by third parties (e.g. courier services).
• Losses due to incorrect payment information provided by you.
• Loss of data if not removed prior to sale (please back up and factory reset your devices).
• Damages exceeding the value agreed in the quote.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, especially in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms. This includes the right to cancel transactions at any point before payment if we have reasonable grounds for concern.

Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will take immediate effect upon being posted on our website. Continued use of the service indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
